There is a significant amount of commerce taking place in open air markets, where street vendors and other merchants bring goods to communities without access. These vendors are entrepreneurs, adding value to peoples lives and solving a problem. Without them, quality of life for rural and developing residents would suffer and development would slow. Ultimate Agro embraces the free-market aspect of informal markets and acknowledged the great part it plays in the sustainable development sub-Saharan Africa. We have special task forces that interact with and serve the informal market, monitoring activity and adapting our business model to meet the supply and demand on the street.
